Apropos of nothing at all- I hear the bear incident at Maymont is to be investigated? The entire incident was shamefully handled, IMO.
It was very sad. I talked to one of the reporters who interviewed the mother of the little boy. It seems she was very shamefully and inaccurately trashed by the media and the public (I felt bad that I made a rush to judgment as well). There was a lot of CYA going on -- especially when it became known that the city officials lied about the advice they received from the CDC. A real mess. The poor bears and the poor little lad!

I have to tell you, Anne. My daughter's favorite show is "Everyday Italian". I even bought the cookbook for her for Christmas. She fancies herself a younger Giada de Laurentis. lol. And my son just thinks she's hot. (Giada - not his sister.)
